Fun Thoughts I Meant to Say Yesterday
Another one of those random words came to my head yesterday. I think I make them up, and then they turn out to be words. Or, maybe I catch them when I'm half asleep and watching Discovery HD. Either way, these are truthfully words that hit my brain, and come out of my mouth. Ommatophore? Beo says it Ho-mat-o-fore.
0m-mat-o-phore-n. - A movable stalk ending with an eye, as found in certain snails.
[Greek omma, ommat-, eye; see okw- in Indo-European Roots + -phore.]
omma-topho-rous-adj.
That's a nice one, huh? Thanks brain.
Also, another fun thought that you may have already known. Next time you see the moon orb from the humidity in the air, or if you see fog, or clouds.
That's water in it's lightest and most polluted form. Ooooohhhhh Ahhhhhhh.

Beo I love you. What's been up man? I love people who use their own creative words because it's awesome. You sure are an individual and it kicks ass. Yes I think the word Ommatophore is really random and weird but it's unique of course. Go YOU!!!
Aw Shorty, I love you too babes.:) I'm feelin' the love. Same shat here. Trying to mostly deal with the fact that I must get up for work everyday. I love my work, but I don't like the fact that it makes me have to get up every morning at 6am.:(

i like the idea of random words....at least having a great vocabulary makes a person seem intelligent (even if they're faking it) hahahahahaha
Ohhh, that's a good one Eye. I wonder what could cause a sudden eustasy. Maybe a comet, or asteriod impact of some type in the ocean.
And hey, I think intelligence is all a matter of perception.
I've work with doctors that have no common sense, and pick their nose in meetings. And, have people in my life that aren't that smart, but can teach you a lot about what life is really all about.
I think the ultimate goal is to learn as much as possible through education and common' folk to be balanced. Then, a person could achieve their own personal apex of intelligence.:)

i couldn't agree with you more on the balance/education issue. i think that IQ tests and other standardized measures of "intelligence" are a bunch of horse-shit.
i'm with you....spend time with all sorts of people. their experiences and perspective will teach so much more than any textbook!
